Palisade State Park is a great place to fish, canoe, and golf. The 18-hole golf course has beautiful scenery and perhaps one of the best par 3 holes in the state. Here’s a golf hint; all of the greens, no matter how they appear, slope toward the lake. All except one that is, and it’s up to you to figure out which one! The Park is located about 10 miles northeast of Gunnison on Highway 89.
